No grid connection or insufficient grid capacity, but your construction project, production process or charging hub cannot wait? The H2-Powergen is a mobile hydrogen generator that supplies reliable electricity where it is needed. The system is suitable for temporary and off-grid power supply, zero-emission construction and infrastructure projects, and businesses that cannot expand or electrify due to grid congestion.

The H2-Powergen was originally developed within HYGRO. Under the ONENSYS name and brand, the system is being further developed and provided as part of a complete onsite energy solution. ONENSYS combines the H2-Powergen with the required electrical distribution, hydrogen supply, monitoring and operational support. This means customers receive more than a generator: they receive a solution tailored to the required power, energy consumption and site conditions.
Deploying electric construction equipment is challenging when a grid connection is unavailable, too small or not available in time. The H2-Powergen supplies power on the construction site to directly operate or charge electric machinery, mobile batteries and other site equipment. This allows work to continue as planned, including at temporary or mobile project locations.
Typical applications include:
The H2-Powergen converts hydrogen electrochemically into electricity, without a combustion process. As a result, no CO2, NOx or particulate matter emissions from combustion are produced during operation on site.

Businesses can also be constrained by a grid connection that is too small, delayed or not yet available. The H2-Powergen can temporarily provide additional or standalone power, allowing production, testing, charging or business expansion to proceed without waiting for a grid upgrade.
Examples include:
ONENSYS can assess with you whether the H2-Powergen fits your energy demand and site. Key factors include the required continuous and peak power, daily energy consumption, operating hours, available space and grid capacity.

A single H2-Powergen can operate independently. For higher power or energy demand, up to three units can be connected in parallel. Depending on the operating profile, a configuration with three H2-Powergens can provide up to 300 kVA peak power and approximately 5000 kWh of electricity per day.
For short power peaks or a variable load profile, the H2-Powergen can be combined with battery storage. ONENSYS configures the complete solution based on the energy demand and available grid capacity. Explore the hybrid energy solutions from ONENSYS.

ONENSYS supplies the H2-Powergen as part of a complete onsite energy solution. Together with the customer, ONENSYS determines which configuration, equipment and services are required to make the necessary energy reliably available on site.
Depending on the project, the solution may include:
ONENSYS takes responsibility for the complete onsite energy supply, allowing you to focus on your project or business process.
The H2-Powergen is installed outdoors on a level, solid and non-combustible surface, with natural ventilation and sufficient space for a secure setup, electrical connection and hydrogen delivery. The hydrogen storage and logistics configuration depends on expected energy usage, deployment duration and the possibilities at the site.
ONENSYS supports the technical, practical and safety related preparation. We recommend starting this process early. Temporary hydrogen storage generally requires a notification four weeks in advance. Read more about the practical and safe use of hydrogen power on site at ONENSYS.
For certain construction and infrastructure projects, deployment of the H2-Powergen may qualify for financial support through schemes for clean and zero-emission construction, including SPUK SEB. Eligibility and contribution levels depend on the project, the contracting authority and the applicable scheme. Read more about SEB and SPUK SEB at ONENSYS.
